Since the launch of the Open Scholarship in 2021, it has attracted many applicants from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Zhuhai and some areas in Guangxi. Thanks to the scholarships, students who were awarded have gained more confidence and motivation to pursue excellence at AISL Harrow Nanning.
External applications portal for the 2023-2024 scholarships will open in November 2022, with a total of nearly RMB 5 million in scholarships and sponsorships benefiting nearly 100 students, with the aim of enabling more outstanding students who aspire to study at Harrow Nanning to realise their dreams and pursue higher aspirations in life.

The 2023-2024 scholarship launched on November 13th at Harrow ILA Nanning. Dozens of private and state-run enterprises and organisations, including the Nanning Investment Promotion Bureau, Tsinghua Alumni Association, Guangxi Association of Overseas and Returned Scholars, Guangxi Returnee Association, as well as prospective parents and students attended to hear about the Harrow Nanning Scholarship policy. Mr Eric Leung, CEO of AISL , came all the way from Hong Kong to deliver a ‘gift package’ to the people of Nanning and students who are eager to study at Harrow Nanning.
At the launching event, he also mentioned, “Joining AISL Harrow Nanning means becoming part of the Harrow family, enjoying the educational resources of the 11 schools within the Harrow family and the strong support of AISL. Next year, the Group will be facilitating exchanges between schools, with students having the opportunity to exchange in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, as well as Bangkok, Thailand and Appi, Japan. In addition, the AISL Group is now actively working with the world’s leading institutions and organizations such as the University of Cambridge, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, offering students more opportunities to study from and communicate with top academics, athletes and industry leaders.”
Diverse scholarship programme: up to 100% full tuition fee remission
The Harrow ILA Nanning 2023-2024 Scholarship Programme consists of 100% full scholarship, 50% half scholarship and 10% talent scholarships (a 20% tuition fee waiver for G10 students). The scholarships are available to all current and prospective students from G1 to G10（100% scholarship and Heads‘ scholarship are for G5 above）, and recipients will be awarded a reduction in tuition fees to encourage and help outstanding students who wish to study at Harrow ILA Nanning and help them achieve their academic aspiration.
Mr Wu, a parent representative and a high-calibre talent introduced to Guangxi, said at the scholarship launch that ‘Harrow has made our relocation back to China much easier’. Responding to the ‘Stronger Capital’ strategy, Harrow ILA Nanning is offering a sponsorship programme with 20% tuition fee deduction for accompanying children of key high-level enterprise talents introduced to Nanning and the autonomous regions.
High School Education Consultations Coming Soon
The much-anticipated High School Department is finally opening its doors for G10 education consultations! To enable more ambitious and talented students to study at Harrow Nanning, out high school department is also offering 100% and 50% scholarship. In addition, prospective high school students with academic, artistic or sporting expertise can apply for the talent scholarships with a 20% tuition fee remission. We offer more places in the scholarships than other grades, and about 70% of candidates will be eligible for a scholarship with tuition fee remission.
What attributes should the scholarship winners have?
Academic excellence is not the only ‘winning’ factor in the selection progress of AISL Harrow Scholarships. It is equally important that students demonstrate their strengths and potential in different areas, as well as their confidence and personality in communication.We can see in these students the important traits that Harrow emphasises academic excellence, pursuing excellence beyond the classroom, and an innate drive to help others and to make a difference.
External applications of 2023/24 AISL Harrow Nanning Scholarship/Sponsorship programmes will be open from now on, the internal application will be launched in March.
