On March 18, March 19 and March 22, 2023, Harrow LiDe School Nanning launched a series of public welfare activities, actively practiced the educating purpose of “being kind and dedicated to society”, and promoted the balanced development of local education through its own actions, called on people from all walks of life to strengthen attention to vulnerable groups such as children and the disabled, and used public welfare to help great love.
Yongning Community Carnival
On March 18, with the strong support of Nanning Yongning District Education Bureau, Harrow LiDe School Nanning invited six paired schools in Nanning Yongning District to participate in the school’s “Yongning Community Carnival”. Students from six schools, together with student representatives and teachers from the six major houses of Harrow LiDe School Nanning, experienced golf, fencing, rugby and other special sports, which opened a window for students to discover their interests and explore their strengths. In the future, the school’s campus facilities will continue to be open to the education community, share high-quality educational resources, promote interaction and exchanges between Yongning education communities, and strengthen communication and learning between different educational subjects, so as to promote the high-quality and balanced development of educational resources.
Together For Good
On March 19, 40 little charity entrepreneurs from 17 countries gathered in MixC in Nanning to fulfill the development goals of the United Nations, raise funds through charity sales and charity performances, help seriously ill children realize their wishes, bring courage to these seriously ill children, and at the same time call on the society to care for seriously ill children with their own actions, so as to bring them more positive forces.
From bazaar selection, purchases, pricing to sales, these activities are completed by students independently. Nine world-themed booths are dazzlingly presented, and the student stall owners can’t help but stop by the way they sell in a variety of ways. Finally, within the specified time, 40 small philanthropists completed the goal and successfully raised 20519 yuan for seriously ill children, which will be used to fulfill the wish of seriously ill children to “go to the beach”.

Children with Disabilities
On the afternoon of March 22nd, the delegation of Harrow LiDe School Nanning came to the Guangxi Charity Foundation for the Disabled and Xingqi Rehabilitation Center for Autistic Children to jointly hold the donation ceremony of “Caring for the Winged Angel and Light the Light of Life” charity activity for disabled children and the “Dedication of Love to Children with Disabilities” activity.
At the event, Chairman Wei Jincheng, from the Guangxi Charity Foundation for the Disabled, first thanked Harrow LiDe School Nanning for raising nearly 150000 yuan for the Guangxi Charity Foundation for the Disabled and its Xingqi Rehabilitation Center for Autistic Children through charity runs and charity sales, which will be used to help people with disabilities and autistic children. Subsequently, the teachers of Xingqi Rehabilitation Center for Autistic Children introduced the rehabilitation process of autistic children one by one, and with their help, nearly 100 “children from the stars” have been improved and can be integrated into the campus and social groups. She also called for more attention to children with autism. We believe that in an inclusive, supportive and caring environment, more and more children with autism will be integrated into society and able to grow up happily. Finally, the leaders of the school, the representatives of the parent committee and the representatives of the students gave the children with autism learning and teaching aids and showed their love. At the same time, Guangxi Charity Foundation for the Disabled also awarded Harrow LiDe School Nanning the title of “Model Unit for Caring and Helping the Disabled”.
Since 2021, teachers and students of the school have carried out charity runs, charity bazaars, charity performances, district and town school assistance and mutual assistance activities and other activities through the school, raising a total of more than 300000 yuan for improving the educational resources of the local community, seriously ill children, and socially disadvantaged groups.
